What is worrying is the calculated attempt to sweep the issue under the carpet. We believe if it had involved a certain Shatta Wale, the whole world would have heard about it. We would have went ahead to castigate him for attacking a journalist. So why the deliberate attempt to treat this issue of attack with dead silence?

An unusual scene was created by Stonebwoy at the waiting corridors of Joyfm, on the 21st of February, 2019. The Multimedia office had hosted a similar scene from a lady by name NAYAS, who by passed all security check points, at the multimedia building, to flock her ex- boyfriend, Ernest Opoku, the gospel musician, somewhere in the last quarter of 2018.
Stonebwoy was said to have been billed for an interview on Adom fm on that particular day. The scene was created immediately he saw the host of the hitzfm’s “SHOWBIZ FILLA” afternoon show – Prince Tsegah, also known as “THE DON”.

What is very interesting is the silence that has been placed on this unfortunate event. Listeners of the show have since the day of the event, been asking the host, The Don, to talk about the alleged assault he suffered in the hands of Stonebwoy. The request of the listeners has not seen the light of day. So nwansina.com had to send some flies to the multimedia office, to suss out details of that unfortunate event.

The account we are giving in this report are strictly eyewitnesses report. The eye witnesses told our flies to keep their names under wraps, since there seem to be an attempt to sweep the incident under the carpet.

Below are the eye witnesses reports unedited.
Eye witness 1:
“At the time Stonebwoy came up with his guards, minus the manager, the Don was in a conversation with the executive director of the national theatre; Madam Amy Frimpong. Stonebwoy was greeting all present to head to the Adom Fm studios, where he was billed for an interview. The moment Stonebwoy saw the Don, he started screaming; Ah the Don..! The Don…!? He acted a bit weird for me. I have never seen him like that before. He was touching his rasta hair, bending down, in fact he was all over the place while he screams the don’s name.”

“The Don seeing this told Stonebwoy to give him a minute to finish with the executive director of the national theatre. But that did not go down well with Stonebwoy, as he started flinging his hand at the woman asking; ‘who is she? You have said things about me on radio, attacking my personality? You even went ahead to say I am not humble? The Don? The Don..? Did you have to say that on radio? You said I am not relevant? And can’t influence the President to talk about the Menzgold issue?’ At this point Stonebwoy had drawn closer to the Don, and slapping him, violently on his shoulders as he spoke.”

Eye witness 2:
“As he slapped the Don’s shoulder violently, he  vented his spleen. The audience present, was trying to prevent him from going beyond what he has already done. The Don could only see people pleading with Stonebwoy to stop as his body guards stood alert to react, should the Don try anything. The body guards didn’t touch the Don. They only stood alert, waiting for any retaliation from the Don.”

“The Don gathered courage to ask Stonebwoy if he listened to the show himself. This is what Stonebwoy said; ‘My wife called me! Louisa called me to listen to what you were saying about me. She told me what you said. I tuned in to listen. The Don…! The Don…?’’

“Saminiwaa stepped in to plead with him to stop the drama because people were around and also prevent Stonebwoy from further attacking the Don. The Don took this coign of vantage to leave the scene. But Stonebwoy didn’t like that. He screamed at the Don; ‘the Don, I am talking to you and you are walking out on me?’ The Don didn’t mind him but left the scene, as Saminiwaa and Doreen Avio took Stonebwoy to Mark Okraku’s office to report to him instead. As they climbed up the stairs, we could hear Stonebwoy, still speaking in anger, vociferously.”

“Stonebwoy later came down and headed straight to Adom FM’s studios for his interview. I didn’t see the Don at the office again till I left there. You could tell, the drama had really shaken the loud Don into pulp as he left the scene.”

Nwansina.com after receiving these reports went to the Hitzfm facebook page to listen back, to the show in question. What we found was at wide variance to what Stonbwoy accused the Don of saying. In fact, the Don was heard praising Stonebwoy for making HE Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, lament on the Menzgold issue. The Don was also heard opining that Stonebwoy is rather a humble guy, a variant of what Stonebwoy accused him of saying.

We believe Stonebwoy might have been given a wrong reportage of what the Don said or his outburst could had been a pent up feeling he’s harbored about Prince Tsegah for a while. We suspect it might have something to do with the way Prince (the Don) Tsegah, chided Stonebwoy on the same show, about his ‘mada koraa’ statement concerning the late Willi Roi’s funeral.

Well this is what our flies brought from some eye witnesses at the scene. We have reported exactly what they narrated to us.

We, however maintain, that this unusual silence treatment of multimedia, on the issue leaves room for concern. What we find very strange again, is in this era of technology and avalanche of mobile phones, there was not a single recording of the event?
This is strange.
